Velocity simply tells you how fast an object is moving at any given point in time. In the following image, the velocity of the left and right ends of the bow can be seen. It is evident that the speed of the bow moving across the strings is relatively constant, until the change of direction. In the video, you can see the figure-eight motion developing at the ends of the bow. |
