Another performance measure is the angular relationship between the limbs, instrument, and bow. The image below shows the angle between the bass and the bow during the Sautillie stroke, viewed from the rear or first-person perspective. Other angles can also be easily computed, which allows a better picture of the relationship between the various limbs and the instrument. This information is invaluable for instruction and learning. |
